Mary Lou Kidd, mother of three sons and a daughter, resides in Paupack. Mary Lou earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Skidmore College and a Master of Science in Nursing from Columbia University.

As Director of Patient Care and as Bereavement Coordinator for Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Mary Lou brings to those positions an impressive educational and work experience history. For twenty-five (25) years, Mary Lou coordinated the Blood Services Program for the American Red Cross in Northeastern Pennsylvania. In addition, Mary Lou maintained a private practice as a grief counselor, while establishing bereavement support groups for students in the Wallenpaupack Area School District.

As Director of Patient Care, Mary Lou gently guides the nurses and home-health aides through their required daily duties. Each person is respected, while being held accountable for providing premier care to the patient.

As Bereavement Coordinator, Mary Lou's exceptional gifts of warmth, understanding and kindness are unconditional. Every person and situation benefits from these extraordinary qualities. She listens, she comforts, she consoles, she understands, she cares.
